CGE Certifies as a
B Corporation

The B Corp certification, granted by B Lab, focuses on the entirety of a business’ operations, covering five key impact areas of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. CGE joins a community of 4,000 businesses globally who have certified as B Corps, including 500 in the UK.

CGE has always strived to be a force for good as well as a force for change. This certification from B Lab confirms CGE’s rigorous social and environmental standards as part of its broader investment strategy and activities.

The certification process is rigorous, with applicants required to reach a benchmark score of over 80. They are required to provide evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices across the business such as investing in employees’ development and wellness, offsetting carbon emissions, and robust ethical governance. To complete the certification, the company will legally embed their commitment to purpose beyond profit in their founding partnership agreement.
