CGE believes in doing the right thing and aims to be a sustainability leader in UK private equity. Becoming a B Corp was a natural step in our firm’s development as it encapsulates our beliefs and positive and ethical approach to business.

ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and ethical considerations are integral to our investment decisions and how we operate as a firm. We focus on four key areas: Governance, Workers, Community, and Environment. We have developed an ESG Framework which highlights the main issues in these areas for the types of business that we invest in.

CGE are proud to be a signatory to the UN Principles of Responsible Investment (UNPRI) and the Initiative Climat International (iCI). We are committed to continuously improving our ESG standards to deliver sustainable growth responsibly.
Environmental Impact
At CGE we aim to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and of our use of energy and other resources. Since our launch we have run on 100% renewable energy, and have calculated our carbon emissions each year to allow offsets and targeted efficiency improvements.
